Man, I need to keep up on my entries! But time goes so fast... it seems like that Eisley concert was only a couple of weeks ago, not more than a month! Eisley was AMAZING, by the way, and they're all so cute :3 What a good experience ♥
I must subsonsciously think about Livejournal when I have something big to do. Tonight John and I are going to see Canadian comedy troupe "Kids in the Hall" at the Pagent in the U-City Loop, it's going to be a lot of fun :) Especially for him, he watched a lot of KitH when he was younger and introduced it to me when we first started dating four years ago.
Let's see... A lot has happened in my life since I last posted! I'm all settled into John's apartment, and I'm getting on the lease this week so I'll offically "live" here soon. :) I graduated last Saturday night, and my orientation at SIUE is at the end of this month. Then coming up in June I have my bridal shower on the 7th and later in the month is the wedding! I can't believe its almost been a year since we were in France where John proposed to me!
I need to get to going, I have tons to do today before we leave for the show :3

So, I'm doing a little "spring cleaning" at the apartment... and by "spring cleaning" I actually mean "picking up the mess John and I made when we moved everything out of the living room".
Whoo, glad I explained that; it would have been some extreme reading between the lines. :3
I'm a little... I dunno, I feel irritated today, but I think it's just because I have a lot going on right now. You know those sorts of days, when everything seems ever so slightly annoying and it slowly shifts your mood from happy to grumpy, sort of like a continental drift... Anyway, when I notice that I'm getting this way I try to keep myself from being bitchy but somehow I never quite succeed ^^;
I'm excited about the Eisley concert that me and my BFF Jenny are going to see next week... Tuesday the 8th Eisley will be at Pop's in Sauget, only 40 minutes from where I live! <3 I'm so excited! Now if only Rasputina would do a show about these parts...
That's one of the pluses living right next to a major city (Saint Louis), but there's also the factor that everyone seems to be fearing for my life that I'm venturing so close to east STL... This "perilous" journey is sans male accompaniment, and that seems to freak everyone out but me and Jenny. John doesn't want to go even though he likes Eisley, and he says that it should be a good experience, doing something on my own like this.
Speaking of John, he'll be home soon... maybe I should finish cleaning up the kitchen so I can start on supper... Chicken stir fry, my specialty! ♥ |

What a day! What a day...
My super cute husband to be is sleeping in the living room, what a doll ♥
I'm so happy, and today is going to be a great day! We're building the entertainment center for the apartment, having gotten the WHOLE living room painted yesterday between John and myself! It looks amazing, and I'm just so happy that things are finally coming together.
And he LOVES the colors! It's caramel and bright red, and looks AMAZING.
I'm going to try to write more journal entries as I start this new chapter in my life... I mean, I'm going to college, getting married, moving... There's a lot going on!
